Avengers Avenged

As one of a select groups of geeks who grew up not exactly reading comic books but hung around those who did. I was able to gleam the story lines and fascinations behind these magazine like comic strips.

Unfortunately i had only managed to see 2 out of the 4 films which preceded the recent release of The Avengers. 

Having enjoyed shows like Firefly and Dollhouse along with films like Serenity. I have become used to the quirkiness and wonderful abilities of Writer and Director Joss Whedon to pull together great work with low budgets. It was a joy to finally see what he could do with a larger budget and with character who come with their own Fan-dom.

So far The Avengers is my favorite film to date for the year. Beating out The Hunger Games. The writing was stellar, the graphic were stunning, the timing was perfect, and there couldn't have been a better choice of cast.ref

This film will cause you to laugh, cry, and go "Oh My Goodness, that didn't just happen". A must see for all who don't mind a well timed jump in your seat moment.

**** On a side note for those who are fans of the 1960's television "The Avengers"  or of the 1998 film The Avengers and have not seen the Movie Trailers for this film please do in order to avoid any confusion. ****
